He gained his insurance and financial services expertise by working at one of the largest global insurers and with international consultancy firms like Monitor Deloitte or Roland Berger, where he was focusing on growth strategy, sales and distribution, digital transformation and innovation, customer excellence as well as InsurTech, AI and automation.

Demonstrated expertise in identifying transformation opportunities, conducting operational assessments, and managing multimillion budgets. Solid history of success in implementing effective strategies to fulfil business needs, enable growth and mitigate potential risks. Expert in in driving change, resolving complex issues, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, while ensuring compliance with defined standards and procedures. Excel at developing strategies and business model innovations with a goal to generate tangible financial top-line growth results. Skilled in building and strengthening relations with key stakeholders, partners, clients, and suppliers.

Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Business focusing on general management and information management from the Management Centre Innsbruck (MCI) and conducted advanced studies at a joint program between Tsinghua University in China and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Daniel is also an entrepreneur and invests in and mentors start-ups.
